Guide

1. The width of the breasts is measured at the widest part of the breast. Place the tape measure in the middle of your chest and wrap it around your torso under your armpits so that both parts of the tape measure come together. It is important that the meter is flat and does not bend.

2. The waist width is measured where the waist circumference is narrowest. This is usually just above the navel, but below the ribs. It is important to take this measurement as well, even if you usually wear pants at a different height. Place the tape measure in the middle and wrap it around the torso again so that both parts of the tape measure come together. Read the result.

3. The width of the hips is measured slightly lower than the width of the waist, we measure over the buttocks in the area where it is widest. Place the tape measure in the middle again and wrap it around your buttocks and read the measurements. In this step, you can also measure the length between your waist and hips.

4. Neck circumference. Place the end of the tape measure on the lower part of the neck (where the collar of the shirt usually falls) and wrap it around the neck until both parts of the tape measure come together. Gently squeeze and read the measurements. You can round the number up or down to the nearest whole number.

5. The chest depth measurement should not be omitted. Namely, this length determines the correct position of the breast and is measured from the neck extension to the nipple.

6. We measure the front length of the torso from the highest point on the shoulder, to the waist (the place where we are narrowest).

7. Measure the length of your back by measuring the length between the cervical vertebra and the waist. Make sure that the meter is constantly straight and that it lies flat on your back. That's the only way you can get the right result.

8. The width of the back is also one measurement, which plays an important role when sewing custom-made clothes. You get it by measuring the width from one shoulder, over the shoulder blades and all the way to the other shoulder.

9. The width of the shoulders is easy to measure if we know exactly where to place the tape measure. It is measured from the highest point on the shoulder (neck extension) all the way to the end of the shoulder.

10. The length of the arm is measured from the top of the shoulder and then down the arm all the way to the wrist. Make sure that the tape measure goes over the elbow to dobio_la the entire length. The arm should be slightly bent.

11. The circumference of the upper arm is measured where the widest part of the arm is.

12. Wrist circumference.
